The bombing of April 19, 1995, was the biggest attack on American soil before 9/11, killing 168 people, including 19 children. The programm talks to conspiracy theorists who claim that the US government not only had foreknowledge of the attack, they had informants inside the conspiracy who actively encouraged the bombing. The film features revealing interviews with the leading FBI investigators in the case, one of whom, for the first time, is now calling for the investigation to be re-opened.

A brief overview of the official story of the Oklahoma City bombing:
On April 17, 1995 Timothy McVeigh reportedly picked up a 20-foot Ryder truck from Elliott's Body Shop in Junction City. The truck was filled with roughly 5,000 pounds (2,300 kg) of ammonium nitrate, an agricultural fertilizer, and nitromethane, a highly volatile motor-racing fuel-a mixture also known as Kinepak or ANFO (ammonium nitrate/fuel oil).

At 9:02 a.m. on April 19, 1995, the truck exploded in the street in front of the Alfred P. Murrah federal building. About 90 minutes later, McVeigh was stopped by an Oklahoma state trooper for driving a vehicle without a license plate, who then arrested him on a firearms charge. Two days later he was charged in the bombing. His friend Terry Nichols was arrested in Kansas, and formally charged with the bombing on May 10.

There are many problems with the official story of the bombing. Let's start with McVeigh's whereabouts on April 17.
McVeigh had been filmed by a security camera at a nearby McDonald's 24 minutes before the time stamped on the truck rental agreement, wearing clothes that did not match either of the men seen at Elliott's.

There is no plausible explanation of how he traveled the mile and a quarter from McDonald's to the rental agency, carless and alone as he claims, without getting soaked in the rain.

The three people interviewed agreed John Does 1 and 2 were dry. According to Stephen Jones, who has seen the interview transcripts, it took 44 days for the FBI to convince the car rental agency owner that John Doe 1 was Timothy McVeigh. And in the end they did not dare put him on the witness stand, for fear of what might happen under cross-examination.

There is also an unanswered question with regard to the truck, namely what was the Army doing with a Ryder Truck just before the Murrah blast?

The minister who married my wife and I was in OK City right after the Murrah Building bomb(s) exploded, and he volunteered to help dig for survivors. He told of three very odd occurrences. In the first, he was required to show his ID six times before being allowed to help look for survivors. In the second, he confirmed the stories told by others that men in suits and ties were literally stepping over the wounded in their haste to gather up files and certain other items in the debris.

Lastly, and the oddest story of all, he told of more men in suits and ties taping plastic sheeting over portions of the building wreckage! The plastic sheeting used was very thin, could not possibly provide any mechanical support for the covered items, and seemed to serve no other purpose than to conceal the wrapped object from view. This story has also been confirmed by other witnesses.

Audio news broadcast on second & third explosives...

According to the March 20, 1996 issue of Strategic Investment newsletter, a classified Pentagon study confirms that the Oklahoma bombing was caused by more than one bomb. A classified report prepared by two independent Pentagon experts has concluded that the destruction of the federal building in Oklahoma City in April 1995 was caused by five separate bombs. The two experts reached the same conclusion for the same technical reasons. Sources close to the Pentagon study are reported to have said that Timothy McVeigh did play a role in the bombing but peripherally, as a "useful idiot."

We reported in Freedom Network News at the time that seismograph readouts at the University of Oklahoma indicated more than one blast impulse. Independent ordnance experts, including a Navy Commander, unanimously agreed that a car-bomb with low intensity fertilizer explosives could not have inflicted such extensive damage to the building and that it was highly likely that high-intensity explosives had been wired directly to the columns. Our suspicion then as now is that it was an "inside job." But by whom is the mystery. Strategic Investment reports that the multiple bombings had a Middle Eastern "signature." Others find the whole business to be extremely fishy because of the fact that no ATF or FBI agents were in their offices at the time of the blast [about 9:05 a.m.] — and that evidence pertaining to both Waco and Mena had been stored there.

On 1997-06-13 Timothy McVeigh was sentenced to death for the bombing of the Federal Building in Oklahoma City (dead men tell no tales). The "useful idiot" has indeed turned out to be useful, effectively deflecting attention from the real perpetrators of this crime.

The Oklahoma City bombing was America's equivalent of the 1933 Reichstag Fire.

A fire destroyed the Reichstag Building on February 27, 1933. Hitler blamed the fire on the Communists. The fire symbolically destroyed the only remaining institution capable of placing reins on Hitler's grab for dictatorial power. Although the case is still somewhat disputed, the fire was very likely instigated by the Nazis and blamed on a Dutch Communist who had committed arson, Marinus van der Lubbe. There was no sign whatsoever of a revolution, but van der Lubbe gave the Nazis the excuse they needed and the pretext for new emergency measures [the Ermächtigungsgesetz, enacted on 1933-03-24]. — The First Steps Leading to the "Final Solution"

Future historians may write:

Several bombs destroyed the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building on April 19, 1995. President Clinton blamed the bombing on domestic right-wing terrorists. The bombing destroyed the records of the 1993 massacre of the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas, and also records relating to Mena. Although the case is still somewhat disputed, the bombing was very likely instigated by a secret criminal organization parasitic upon the U.S. government and blamed on a member of a right-wing militia, Timothy McVeigh, who was known to be sympathetic to violent resistance to the federal government. There was no sign whatsoever of a revolution, but McVeigh gave the U.S. government the excuse it needed and the pretext for new emergency measures, the Counter-Terrorism Bill.

The Oklahoma City Bombing: 30 Unanswered Questions

Despite Timothy McVeigh's guilty verdict, numerous unanswered questions about the murderous Oklahoma City bombing remain. Indeed, there are so many unanswered questions, it is amazing that the prosecution was able to secure a conviction at all. So pull up a front-row seat for the McVeigh lynching, folks, and contemplate a few of the contradictions in the official account of the OKC bombing before it all gets flushed down the memory hole.

More on the 30 unanswered questions...

If the bombing of the Alfred E. Murrah building in Oklahoma City was a terrorist reprisal for the massacre of the Branch Davidians at Waco, why were no BATF or FBI agents injured? Why was EVERY BADGE-CARRYING FEDERAL AGENT absent from work at nine o’clock on a weekday morning, their offices staffed only with civilian clerical workers?

When the word first got out that no Federal agents had been present in the building, the BATF produced its Resident Agent Alex McCauley who told a long story about his own heroism and that of a fellow ATF man who allegedly fell three floors in an elevator, walked away from it, and then helped rescue others trapped by the bomb. This was quickly exposed as a fabrication in an angry interview by building maintenance supervisor Duane James, who described McCauley’s story as "pure fantasy". James examined the elevator in question and also the central control panel and pointed out a number of technical and logical reasons why the miraculous elevator incident simply couldn’t have happened in the way claimed. The McCauley account was quietly retracted and flushed down the memory hole by the ATF, with the help of the media. They now admit that McCauley was nowhere near the building when the bomb went off, although they refuse to discuss his exact whereabouts or the whereabouts of any other ATF agent at the time of the explosion.

Will BATF Agent Alex McCauley be disciplined for telling a self-serving lie which falsely made himself out to be a hero? If that was not the purpose, why did he make this palpably false public statement?

Why was U.S. Judge Wayne Alley, whose office was located in the Federal building, warned several weeks in advance in a Justice Department memo to be prepared for an unnamed "terrorist act" directed against the Federal building?

Judge Alley made the above admission to the Portland Oregonian immediately after the bombing. He has since refused to repeat it or allow himself to be interviewed again. Why?

The Oklahoma City Bombing:
A Past and Future History
by John Loeffler World Affairs Editor

In May the United States braced itself for the inevitable carnival that would surround the execution of Timothy McVeigh for his role in the 1995 bombing of the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City. Then suddenly the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) revealed that - oops! - it had failed to turn over 3,000 pages of evidence to McVeigh's attorneys during the discovery process at McVeigh's trial.

Shortly thereafter, Timothy McVeigh's attorneys announced they were seeking a stay of execution, making accusations of "a fraud upon the court" by the federal government, which had already admitted it withheld documents during both the trial and sentencing phases of the process against McVeigh. 1 The attorneys also alleged there were "...still critical documents about this investigation being withheld by the FBI...." 2

This revelation was the latest "oops" in a pattern of irregularities leading all the way back to the FBI's involvement in the Ruby Ridge standoff in 1992, where either the ATF or FBI tampered with evidence and withheld it in the Randy Weaver trial and later engaged in a cover-up of FBI misconduct in the whole affair.

The FBI's role at Waco will remain one of the dark days of its history. The Cato Institute's No Confidence: An Unofficial Account of the Waco Incident documents felonies committed by government agents, including a videotaped criminal assault on a TV reporter by federal agents (which have never been prosecuted). In 1997, the FBI paid $1.16 million to a former crime laboratory agent, who was fired after he blew the whistle on serious irregularities in the evidence testing in hundreds of cases, including the World Trade Centre and Oklahoma City bombings. Just recently, FBI counterintelligence officer Robert Hansen was accused of spying for the Russians for 15 years and has subsequently been indicted following failed plea bargain attempts. After holding accused Chinese spy Wen Ho Lee for almost a year without trial - oops! - all charges but one were dropped, an obvious save-face for the FBI.

Clinton's Justice Department

Timothy McVeigh was originally resigned to being executed in May, but he reversed himself following the FBI's latest announcement about its retention of evidence. McVeigh attempted to utilize his case to demonstrate his rationale for the bombing in the first place, that the federal government is running outside of accountability and control, but his appeal was denied. Although no one would agree with McVeigh's criminal action, he was not alone in his conviction that things are radically wrong. Author David Limbaugh (brother of talk show host Rush Limbaugh) makes the argument in his new book, Absolute Power, that the Clinton administration thoroughly corrupted the Justice Department.

On the day President Clinton had his hair cut while Air Force One sat on the tarmac of Los Angeles International Airport, delaying air traffic for hours, the president's administration under Janet Reno fired all 93 of the country's United States attorneys!3 The mainline media covered the haircut and ignored this unprecedented firing, which should have been the first indicator that the Justice Department was being politicized.

This was followed by the Waco debacle, the Justice Department's war against the tobacco industry, and an endless series of Clinton administration scandals with follow-up investigations that were clearly whitewashes and cover-ups. The administration used the IRS to persecute conservative groups and illegally used FBI files to blackmail political opponents. Other events, such as the violent raid to retrieve Cuban child refugee Elián González, only served to deepen this image of government. Millions were enraged at the photograph of Elián being removed at gunpoint by a federal agent. A civil rights complaint in the matter was filed at the end of May, naming (among others) former Attorney General Janet Reno, who was served papers while lunching at a restaurant in Miami. The mainline media probably didn't tell you that either. All of these events - and more - served to erode credibility in government. But how had the country arrived at this point?

The Country's Great March Left

After a postwar decade of prosperity in the 1950s, the fabric of the U.S. common belief system underwent radical changes in the 1960s and succeeding decades. The civil rights movement flowered in the '60s and ended segregation. While it was intended to be the equalization of long-standing injustices against African-Americans, it was soon joined by Vietnam War protests and other causes on college campuses, generally driven by radical leftist and pro-Marxist ideology. Eventually the civil rights movement was hijacked by the new left to create a whole new victim class of people who merited special treatment, wherein all sorts of groups demanding all sorts of imagined "rights" climbed onto the civil rights bandwagon. Martin Luther King would not recognize his dream today.

By the middle 1980s, traditional American values were largely disenfranchised and ridiculed in the public arena. People knew something was wrong; this wasn't the America they had known and they knew they weren't being heard but didn't know why. There was no such thing as "bipartisanship" in Congress in those days. Conservatives were given crumbs from the table, as long as they didn't interfere with the liberal political agenda.

Enter Talk Radio

In the mid-'80s, conservatives found a forum in the phenomenon of talk radio and the airwaves crackled with the voice of a new anti-establishment protest, this time from the right instead of the left. (Note that the young, leftist anti-government protestors of the '60s, President Clinton among them, had become the establishment leftists of the '80s and '90s.) By the 1990s, conservative talk radio was in full swing, transmitting a daily avalanche of heretofore unheard information and viewpoints. At the same time, cheap FAX technology and email enabled conservative political groups, foundations and think tanks to rapidly disseminate information which had previously been stifled by the leftist media, whose decades-long choke hold on the public mind had finally been broken. The religious right was also beginning to see fruit in its decades-long push to gain influence inside the Republican party, especially the pro-life movement.

At this time, right-wing discontent with government reached new peaks. Education had derailed itself, after billions of dollars of investment and failed promises of "reform" from the education establishment. Property rights had taken a brutal beating from the war on drugs and the environmental movement. Millions of Americans were facing debt issues with the IRS as government taxes soared. In hundreds of stories, people could recount some unfortunate tangle with the establishment, having found themselves hopelessly entangled in a web of government regulations, laws, fines and penalties.

In the early 1990s, certain events catalyzed the conservative movement. Not only was it gaining a huge head of stream, but Ruby Ridge and Waco occurred, adding to the anxieties of many that parts of their government might just be running out of control. As scandals in the Clinton administration unfolded one by one, the new talk radio kept promulgating facts that the mainliners had tried to "spike."

Where Did That Come From?

The mainline media was generally oblivious to the rising influence of the new kids on the block, but a wake-up shock hit them during the November 1994 elections, which produced a landslide turn toward conservatism. The TV network news organizations covering election returns that night were visibly shaken by the results. Dan Rather referred to it as a "national temper tantrum." The national temper tantrum continued to build in crescendo and the left-wing socialist agenda of 30 years seemed in dire straights. That was until the morning of April 19, 1995, when a tragic bomb blast in Oklahoma City killed 168 innocent men, women and children.

A Presidential Call for Disunity

Oklahoma City did not occur in a vacuum. There had been a rising tide of discontent with government, much of it justified but with all political movements or trends, there are extremes.

After the bombing, the appropriate action would have been for President Clinton to unite the country as one in grieving over a disastrous tragedy. But he chose to do exactly the opposite. Within 48 hours, the president began a campaign to blame everyone on the right for the "atmosphere of hate" that had caused the tragedy. The left-wing media joined in the feeding frenzy. No one was exempt: pro-lifers, pro-family organizations, home schoolers, the religious right (portrayed as whackos) and especially "hate radio."

Although a few brave souls in Congress and elsewhere attempted to stand on principle during the onslaught and challenged the president's wild allegations, the country's emotional trauma acted like a volcanic explosion that blew away any reasoned effort to stand in the storm of hysteria.

The Fallout from the Oklahoma City Bombing

People on the right scrambled to look "moderate." The left called the tune and the right danced to it. Talk show hosts were fired or told to tone it down. Elected representatives refused to stand on principle. Overnight, the entire conservative movement went underground by looking "moderate."

Just nine days after the bombing, in his daily report on April 28, 1995, Gary Bauer of the Family Research Council wrote: "The liberal media and politicians may have accomplished their goal in the last few days by linking the thugs who blew up the federal building in Oklahoma City with legitimate conservative political views. A number of congressmen have told me that their fellow conservatives in Congress are 'scared' and on the defensive. How long this paranoia will last is anyone's guess."4 That paranoia has lasted until now. It effectively scuttled the conservative comeback. As a result of the Oklahoma City fire storm, new political categories have emerged in the press. "Mainstream" people are liberals. "Moderates" are conservatives who don't oppose what the liberals want to do. "Extremists" are those who oppose the socialist agenda.

Following Oklahoma City, the Republican Party leadership hustled quickly to move its image towards center, leaving true conservatives, religious righters, pro-lifers and Constitutionalists alone by themselves on the genuine right. As such, the Republican party surrendered its ability to counter the constant leftward drone towards socialism. Those who are called "far right" today are really conservatives who had not moved while the country and Republican party went radically left.

Religious conservatives are now discovering they are orphans within the party they once worked so hard to promote: still hopeful, but not quite understanding what went wrong. The most recent indicator of this was the passage last week of HR1, the Elementary and Secondary Education Reauthorization Act, with most of the provisions for national control of education intact. There is little difference now between Democrats and Republicans. They are both marching leftward.

But once again, there is a growing disillusioned discontent similar to the political buildup that began in the early 1990s as people begin to realize that there is something wrong. The alternative media are growing and going mainstream. Once again, dissenting voices are beginning to be heard. Where it will lead this time remains to be seen.

I suspect few government officials realized in 1992 the widespread anger and resentment their actions in a remote area of Idaho would inspire. Randy Weaver and his family were just some more "troublemakers" who didn't like the multicultural cesspool and wanted to be left alone. They would be "taken down hard and fast."

While most of the American sheeple paid no attention to this atrocity, a substantial minority on both sides of the political spectrum were outraged and wouldn't forget. Now the story continues.

Please note that, damning as the Justice Department investigation is, FBI officials are now believed to have destroyed evidence to keep it away from investigators.

Ruby Ridge: The Justice Report

By James Bovard

The 1992 confrontation between federal agents and the Randy Weaver family in Ruby Ridge, Idaho, has become one of the most controversial and widely discussed examples of the abuse of federal power. The Justice Department completed a 542-page investigation on the case last year but has not yet made the report public. However, the report was acquired by Legal Times newspaper, which this week placed the text on the Internet. The report reveals that federal officials may have acted worse than even some of their harshest critics imagined.

This case began after Randy Weaver was entrapped, as an Idaho jury concluded, by an undercover Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms agent to sell him sawed-off shotguns.

While federal officials have claimed that the violent confrontation between the Weavers and the government began when the Weavers ambushed federal marshals, the report tells a very different story. A team of six U.S. marshals, split into two groups, trespassed onto Mr. Weaver's land on Aug. 21, 1992. One of the marshals threw rocks at the Weaver's cabin to see how much noise was required to agitate the Weaver's dogs. A few minutes later, Randy Weaver, Kevin Harris, and 13-year-old Sammy Weaver came out of the cabin and began following their dogs. Three U.S. marshals were soon tearing through the woods.

At one point, U.S. Marshal Larry Cooper "told the others that it was ['expletive deleted'] for them to continue running and that he did not want to 'run down the trail and get shot in the back.' He urged them to take up defensive positions. The others agreed.... William Degan ... took a position behind a stump...."

As Sammy Weaver and Kevin Harris came upon the marshals, gunfire erupted. Sammy was shot in the back and killed while running away from the scene (probably by Marshal Cooper, according to the report), and Marshal Degan was killed by Mr. Harris. The jury concluded that Mr. Harris's action was legitimate self-defense; the Justice report concluded it was impossible to know who shot first.

Several places in the report deal with the possibility of a government coverup. After the firefight between the marshals and the Weavers and Mr. Harris, the surviving marshals were taken away to rest and recuperate. The report observed, "We question the wisdom of keeping the marshals together at the condominium for several hours, while awaiting interviews with the FBI. Isolating them in that manner created the appearance and generated allegations that they were fabricating stories and colluding to cover up the true circumstances of the shootings."

After the death of the U.S. marshal, the FBI was called in. A source of continuing fierce debate across America is: Did the FBI set out to apprehend and arrest Randy Weaver and Kevin Harris -- or simply to kill them? Unfortunately, the evidence from the Justice Department report is damning in the extreme on this count.

The report noted, "We have been told by observers on the scene that law enforcement personnel made statements that the matter would be handled quickly and that the situation would be 'taken down hard and fast.' " The FBI issued Rules of Engagement that declared that its snipers "can and should" use deadly force against armed males outside the cabin.

The report noted that a member of an FBI SWAT team from Denver "remembered the Rules of Engagement as 'if you see 'em, shoot 'em.' " The task force report noted, "since those Rules which contained 'should' remained in force at the crisis scene for days after the August 22 shooting, it is inconceivable to us that FBI Headquarters remained ignorant of the exact wording of the Rules of Engagement during that entire period."

The report concluded that the FBI Rules of Engagement at Ruby Ridge flagrantly violated the U.S. Constitution: "The Constitution allows no person to become 'fair game' for deadly force without law enforcement evaluating the threat that person poses, even when, as occurred here, the evaluation must be made in a split second." The report portrays the rules of engagement as practically a license to kill: "The Constitution places the decision on whether to use deadly force on the individual agent; the Rules attempted to usurp this responsibility."

FBI headquarters rejected an initial operation plan because there was no provision to even attempt to negotiate the surrender of the suspects. The plan was revised to include a negotiation provision -- but subsequent FBI action made that provision a nullity. FBI snipers took their positions around the Weaver cabin a few minutes after 5 p.m. on Aug. 22. Within an hour, every adult in the cabin was either dead or severely wounded -- even though they had not fired a shot at any FBI agent.

Randy Weaver, Mr. Harris, and 16-year-old Sara Weaver stepped out of the cabin a few minutes before 6 p.m. to go to the shed where Sammy's body lay. FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi shot Randy Weaver in the back. As Randy Weaver, Mr. Harris, and Sara Weaver struggled to get back into the cabin, Vicki Weaver stood in the cabin doorway holding a baby. Agent Horiuchi fired again; his bullet passed through a window in the door, hit Vicki Weaver in the head, killing her instantly, and then hit Mr. Harris in the chest.

At the subsequent trial, the government claimed that Messrs. Weaver and Harris were shot because they had threatened to shoot at a helicopter containing FBI officials. Because of insufficient evidence, the federal judge threw out the charge that Messrs. Weaver and Harris threatened the helicopter. The Justice report noted, "The SIOC [Strategic Information and Operations Center at FBI headquarters] Log indicates that shots were fired during the events of August 22.... We have found no evidence during this inquiry that shots fired at any helicopter during the Ruby Ridge crisis. The erroneous entry was never corrected." (The Idaho jury found Messrs. Weaver and Harris innocent on almost all charges.)

The Justice Department task force expressed grave doubts about the wisdom of the FBI strategy: "From information received at the Marshals Service, FBI management had reason to believe that the Weaver/Harris group would respond to a helicopter in the vicinity of the cabin by coming outside with firearms. Notwithstanding this knowledge, they placed sniper/observers on the adjacent mountainside with instructions that they could and should shoot armed members of the group, if they came out of the cabin. Their use of the helicopter near the cabin invited an accusation that the helicopter was intentionally used to draw the Weaver group out of the cabin."

The task force was extremely critical of Agent Horiuchi's second shot: "Since the exchange of gunfire [the previous day], no one at the cabin had fired a shot. Indeed, they had not even returned fire in response to Horiuchi's first shot. Furthermore, at the time of the second shot, Harris and others outside the cabin were retreating, not attacking. They were not retreating to an area where they would present a danger to the public at large...."

Regarding Agent Horiuchi's killing of Vicki Weaver, the task force concluded, "[B]y fixing his cross hairs on the door when he believed someone was behind it, he placed the children and Vicki Weaver at risk, in violation of even the special Rules of Engagement.... In our opinion he needlessly and unjustifiably endangered the persons whom he thought might be behind the door."

The Justice Department task force was especially appalled that the adults were gunned down before receiving any warning or demand to surrender: "While the operational plan included a provision for a surrender demand, that demand was not made until after the shootings.... The lack of a planned 'call out' as the sniper/observers deployed is significant because the Weavers were known to leave the cabin armed when vehicles or airplanes approached. The absence of such a plan subjected the Government to charges that it was setting Weaver up for attack."

One of our governments favorite activities is spying on it's own citizens. They don't care for being hindered by such things as the Bill of Rights, and the FBI has been censured by Congress several times for illegal investigations. Along these lines, the BATF sent informant Kenneth Fadeley to pose as a gun dealer to spy on groups that opposed opressive government in Idaho. The BATF targeted Randy Weaver to be set up. In October 1989, Fadeley approached Weaver posing as someone interested in purchasing sawed-off shotguns. Fadeley approached Weaver and pressured the mountain man to sell him sawed-off shotguns. Mr. Weaver at first refused, but the agent was persistent and Mr. Weaver eventually sold him two shotguns, thereby violating federal firearms law. They set up a trial date, but Weaver would not deal with with federal gestapo. To justify a militaristic retaliation, BATF agents lied to the U.S. attorney's office. BATF agents claimed that Weaver had a criminal record and that he was a suspect in several bank robberies.

Both charges were fabrications, even according to BATF Director John Magaw, who admitted the accusations were "inexcusable" in testimony before Congress. The U.S. attorney's office indicted Weaver on weapons charges in May 1990.Weaver was arraigned in January 1991. After missing his February 1991 court date, Weaver was indicted in March 1991 on charges of refusing to appear in court. When federal agents set up Randy Weaver on minor weapons violations, Weaver refused to show up in court for the charge, instead holing up with his wife and four children in his mountain cabin on Ruby Ridge, forty miles south of the Canadian border. A Justice Department attorney got an arrest warrant for Weaver, despite knowing that a court official notified Weaver of an incorrect court date. (Weaver wasn't going to show up anyway.) For the charge of refusing to appear in court for a minor weapons violation, the government conducted a military siege of Ruby Ridge worthy of a small war. As reported by James Bovard in the January 10, 1995 Wall Street Journal, after Weaver's February 1991 missed court appearance, Federal agents then launched an elaborate 18-month surveillance of Mr. Weaver's cabin and land. David Niven, a defense lawyer involved in the subsequent court case, noted later: "The U.S. marshals called in military aerial reconnaissance and had photos studied by the Defense Mapping Agency. ... They had psychological profiles performed and installed $130,000 worth of solar-powered long-range spy cameras. They intercepted the Weavers' mail. They even knew the menstrual cycle of Weaver's teenage daughter, and planned an arrest scenario around it."

On August 21, 1992, the siege began in earnest. Six U.S. marshals, armed and camouflaged, went onto Weaver's property to conduct undercover surveillance. When Weaver's dogs started barking, they shot one of them. Weaver's 25-year-old friend Kevin Harris and 14-year-old son Sammy saw the dog die. Sammy Weaver fired his gun towards the agents as his dad yelled for him to come back to the cabin. "I'm coming, Dad," were Sammy Weaver's last words before he was shot in the back and killed by a U.S. marshal. Kevin Harris, witnessing the agents' killing of the dog and child, fired at the agents in self-defense, killing one of them. After the initial shootout, the Weavers and Harris retreated into their cabin, and a small army surrounded the area. Says Bovard: "the commander of the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team was called in, and ordered federal agents to shoot any armed adult outside the Weaver cabin, regardless of whether that person was doing anything to threaten or menace federal agents. (Thanks to the surveillance, federal officials knew that the Weavers always carried guns when outside their cabin.)" Against a handful of rural Idahoans with shotguns, the U.S. arrayed four hundred federal agents with automatic weapons, sniper rifles and night vision scopes. On August 22, 1992, Randy Weaver went to see his son's body in the shack where it lay. He was shot and wounded from behind by FBI sniper Lon Horiuchi. As Weaver struggled back to his house, Horiuchi assassinated his wife Vicki as she stood in the doorway, holding their 10-month-old baby. Although the feds later claimed Vicki Weaver's killing was an accident, the New York Times reported in 1993 that an internal FBI report justified the killing by saying she put herself in danger.

On February 28, 1993, the United States Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (BATF) launched the largest assault in its history against a small religious community in central Texas. Approximately eighty armed agents invaded the compound, purportedly to execute a single search and arrest warrant. The raid went badly; six Branch Davidians and four agents were killed, and after a fifty-one-day standoff, the United States Justice Department approved a plan to use CS gas against those barricaded inside. Tanks carrying the CS gas entered the compound. Later that day, fire broke out, and all seventy-four men, women and children inside perished.

This includes excerpts from the legal complaint filed by former Attorney General Ramsey Clark, including:

At about noon [19 April 1993] FBI agents on foot entered the Church, and fired shots which struck plaintiffs many of whom were dead, or unconscious from gas inhalation. Several FBI defendants proceeded to the second floor and placed an explosive material on the top of the concrete Church vault [in which women and children were crowded on the floor] at the 2nd floor level. ... At about 12:20 p.m. a huge explosion blasted a hole several feet in diameter ... [in] the concrete ceiling of the Church vault, crushing, cutting, burying and killing or injuring most of the approximately 30 persons in the vault. ... It [FBI] planned to demolish the Church building, to destroy evidence of the ATF attack on February 28, including evidence of the first shots fired by ATF at the front door of the Church and the lethal firing at the Church from helicopters which the ATF denied.

Hayes writes:

The FBI murdered everyone they could and destroyed as much evidence as possible. This was the issue that screamed for investigation. The Joint Committee spent its ten days spreading whitewash. Anyone who watched and/or listened to the hearings, as PFP did, clearly noted the Alice in Wonderland quality. The two Davidians and their two attorneys gave a clear and consistent story of ATF, FBI and military aggression and Davidian self-defense. However, every person on the imperial payroll told a story that was the exact opposite.

In late February 1993, after preliminary investigations, the ATF began preparing for what would be its biggest raid in history. They were concerned about the stockpiling of weapons at the Koresh compound, as well as the possible endangerment of children. All it lacked was a plan- and the element of surprise. When acting Special Agent in Charge Darrell Dyer arrived from Kansas City and asked to see the paperwork, he found that none existed. In the next four days, Dyer and fellow agent William Krone drew up a plan-but it was never distributed.

On the day of the raid, February 28, 1993, an ambulance company hired by the ATF agents leaked word of "Operation Trojan Horse" to a local TV station, which then sent a cameraman to check on the situation. The cameraman asked a local postman, David Jones, for directions to the Koresh compound. He also told Jones about the raid. Jones, who was Koresh's brother-in-law, informed Koresh.

An undercover agent at Koresh's compound found out that Koresh knew of the pending raid and found an excuse to leave. The agent in charge of the raid, Philip Chojnacki, decided the raid should still go on. On March 29, ATF head Higgins claimed, "We would not have executed the plans if our supervisors had lost the element of surprise."

Following the disastrous ATF raid, the Koresh matter was turned over to the FBI.

A standoff took place, lasting 51 days. The FBI and their people wanted Koresh and his followers to come out, and face charges concerning the killing and wounding of ATF agents.

For awhile, the FBI had had success negotiating with Koresh. They got 37 people out, including 21 children, before negotiations went sour. To make their tactical case, officials had to defend on their intelligence from the inside of the compound, but as Koresh grew more paranoid it was harder to gather. After negotiating to send in milk, magazines and a typewriter, they tucked in tiny listening devices as well to monitor Koresh's moods. But cult members were said to have found the bugs and destroyed them.

Prior to the assault, the FBI came to Reno with their plan, laid out in a briefing book, That started a week of meetings, briefings, phone calls and more meetings in which Reno probed the motives and methods the bureau laid out.

The plan ultimately presented to Reno involved pumping tear gas into the compound to create enough chaos to distract anyone intent on either firing back or orchestrating a mass suicide. Perhaps those wavering would come out.

That was the plan FBI director William Sessions and his deputies put before Reno on Monday morning. She had many questions. Why now? What is Koresh likely to do? Is this the best way to go? Her questions always came back to the children.

Reno was told that child abuse was going on at the compound, ranging from slapping around to the "ongoing pattern of young girls in there being sexually abused/ She approved the plan at 7:15 p.m. She called President Clinton the next night to inform him of her plan. The assault began the next morning.

The pounding began a few minutes after 6 a.m., April 19, when an armored combat engineer vehicle with a long, insistent steel nose began prodding a corner of the main building. Shots rang out from the windows the moment agents began pumping in tear gas.

A second cev joined in bucking walls, breaking windows, nudging, nudging, as though moving the building would move those inside.

Koresh left his apartment on the top floor and stalked the halls. "get your gas masks on," he told them. The masks would protect them for hours. They went about their chores, even as a tank crashed through the front door, past the piano, the potato sacks and the propane tank barricaded against it.

The vehicles exhaled clouds of tear gas as the rounds of bullets rained down on them. Fleeing the gas, the women and children clustered in the center of the second floor, from which there was no exit.

A few minutes past noon, FBI agents claimed they saw a Davidian in a gas mask cupping his hands, as though lighting something. Soon, an explosion rocked the compound, then another and another as ammunition stores blew up. The building shuddered like the earthquake Koresh had foretold.

The FBI waited to see adults or children coming out. No one did. Eventually word got out that several adult Davidians were outside the building. Ruth Riddle, who had jumped through a hole punched in the wall, was spotted. She was taken to safety by FBI agents. A man appeared on the roof, his clothing in flames. He fell off the roof. Agents put out the fire and took him to safety.

Helped by 30 mile per hour wind, flames roared through the Branch Davidian compound. The fire raced through the big parlor, feeding on the wooden benches and the stacks of Bibles kept by the door. The chapel crackled as flamed consumed the wooden pew-like bleachers for his audience. Table after table in the cafeteria burned, and rows of children's wooden bunk beds upstairs, as the flames spread faster, through the attic that ran the length of the building like a wind tunnel. It burned fast because it was built on the cheap, a tar-paper, yellow-pine and plasterboard. By the time the fire fighters went into the compound, only ashes and bones were left, and questions.

Some speculated that the tanks punctured the propane tank barricading the door, sending flames speeding through a storage room full of of gallon fuel containers for the lanterns, lighting the hay bales and other debris.

Survivor Avraam claims, "People had no time to get out. The fire spread very fast," says Avraam, who escaped by diving out a window.

At the time, FBI agent Sage claimed, "I saw three fires almost simultaneously." Insisted Sage, "There's no question but that it was not started by the tanks in front of the building. That's ridiculous. I saw tanks at different points from where the fires were."

As the week progressed the FBI had to back off certain claims: that they had fresh evidence of child abuse, that they had actually seen a cult member lighting the fire, and that some victims were shot by fellow Davidians for trying to flee.

A couple days before the fiery destruction, Koresh promised that he and his followers would emerge as soon a she had finished his manuscript interpreting the Seven Seals of the Bible's Book of Revelation.

FBI officials, exasperated after the 51-day siege and by Koresh's constantly shifting demands about the terms of his surrender, doubted that the manuscript and went ahead with the raid.

A woman who escaped from the fire carried with her the first, 13 page, installment of Koresh's manuscript.

According to a 220 page critique of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms issued by the Treasury department in October of 1993, the Feb. 28 raid on David Koresh's compound in Waco, Texas, resulted in the death of four ATF agents and six cult members and led to a 51-day siege and a fiery conflagration that claimed the lives of 85 people, including at least 17 children, The Bureau, the report said, not only handled a sensitive situation ineptly but tried to cover up its bumbling with lies and obfuscations. As the study coldly noted, "There may be occasions when pressing operational considerations-or legal constraints-prevent law-enforcement officials from being... completely candid in their public utterances. This was not one of them." The field commanders made "inaccurate and disingenuous statements" to cover up their missteps, putting the blame on agents.

After the report was released, Treasury Secretary Lloyd Bentsen, whose department is in charge of ATF, announced the replacement of the agency's entire top management. Its boss, Stephen Higgins, who knew the report was going to be harsh, announced his retirement three days before.

There is reason to believe the FBI played a big role in the deaths of those at the Waco compound. Whether the FBI, by accident, or Koresh and his followers, on purpose, started the fires that killed most of those at the compound will never be clear. But, if the FBI had been patient, there MIGHT have been a peaceful end to the standoff. We will never know for sure.

Waco: A New Revelation is the film that triggered a new Congressional investigation of the Waco tragedy, and caused the Justice Department and the FBI to reverse their long-held positions on Waco. It has generated a firestorm of events unprecedented in the history of documentary filmmaking.

After six years of painstaking investigation, the complete story of the tragedy in Texas is finally coming to light. This compelling feature-length documentary presents new revelations about the events that led up to the deaths of 79 men, women and children at Mount Carmel on April 19, 1993.

In the spring of 1998, under the Freedom of Information Act, investigators from MGA Studio's film division became the first private citizens to gain access to the Waco investigation evidence lockers. What they found was shocking. Upon examination, the evidence gathered under the supervision of federal officials appeared to contradict the FBI's congressional testimony, raising serious and disturbing questions about events surrounding the siege at Mt. Carmel and the deaths of the Davidians.

Since 1993, former members of the FBI, former Special Forces and CIA operatives have come forward with new evidence to suggest that the FBI's claim is inaccurate.

The Intra-Administration
War in Vietnam

WASHINGTON, Oct. 2 — The Central Intelligence Agency is getting a very bad press in dispatches from Vietnam to American newspapers and in articles originating in Washington. Like the Supreme Court when under fire, the C.I.A. cannot defend itself in public retorts to criticisms of its activities as they occur. But, unlike the the Supreme Court, the C.I.A. has no open record of its activities on which the public can base a judgment of the validity of the criticisms. Also, the agency is precluded from using the indirect defensive tactic which is constantly employed by all other Government units under critical file.

This tactic is to give information to the press, under a seal of confidence, that challenges or refutes the critics. But the C.I.A. cannot father such inspired articles, because to do so would require some disclosure of its activities. And not only does the effectiveness of the agency depend on the secrecy of its operations. Every President since the C.I.A. was created has protected this secrecy from claimants—Congress or the public through the press, for examples—of the right to share any part of it.

With High Frequency

This Presidential policy has not, however, always restrained other executive units from going confidentially to the press with attacks on C.I.A. operations in their common field of responsibility. And usually it has been possible to deduce these operational details from the nature o the attacks. But the peak of the practice has recently been reached in Vietnam and in Washington. This is revealed almost every day now in dispatches from reporters—in close touch with intra-Administration critics of the C.I.A.—with excellent reputations for reliability.

One reporter in this category is Richard Starnes of the Scripps-Howard newspapers. Today, under a Saigon dateline, he related that, "according to a high United States source here, twice the C.I.A. flatly refused to carry out instructions from Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge . . . [and] in one instance frustrated a plan of action Mr. Lodge brought from Washington because the agency disagreed with it." Among the views attributed to United States officials on the scene, including one described as a "very high American official . . . who has spent much of his life in the service of democracy . . . are the following:

The C.I.A.'s growth was "likened to a malignancy" which the "very high official was not sure even the White House could control . . . any longer." "If the United States ever experiences [an attempt at a coup to overthrow the Government] it will come from the C.I.A. and not the Pentagon." The agency "represents a tremendous power and total unaccountability to anyone."

See video on link below...

Researcher Anthony Frank writes: A "Washington Post" article on September 22, 1963, about Kennedy’s efforts to oust the Diem-Nhu regime, said that “certain elements of the CIA believe that there is no alternative to the Diem-Nhu axis. These sentiments also exist among American military leaders . . . The brass simply feels that any change in American policy would wreck the war effort. The firmest opponents of change, however, seem to be certain top CIA people. There is strong reason to believe that the recent Times of Vietnam story exposing an alleged CIA coup attempt was actually leaked by CIA dissidents themselves in an attempt to forestall any American attempt to dump Nhu . . . CIA dissidents see positive virtues in Nhu . . . Ambassador Lodge cannot fully trust his own staff members.”

On October 5, 1963, nine days after McCone’s memorandum, the "Washington Post" reported: “John H. Richardson, CIA station chief in South Vietnam, is being recalled to Washington . . . Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge is reported on good authority to have requested Richardson’s replacement . . . Richardson has been one of the key men in development of the U.S. Role of helping the Diem government fight Communist guerrillas . . . There have been persistent reports of differences between Lodge and the CIA staff.”

At a news conference on October 9, 1963, four days after Richardson’s removal, President Kennedy “vigorously defended the role of the Central Intelligence Agency in South Vietnam . . . The President devoted a good share of his 30 minute news conference to the subject of the CIA, a normally sacrosanct matter which the White House never airs in public.”

On November 1, 1963, three weeks before JFK was assassinated, the Diem-Nhu regime was ousted in a coup.

“Diem was defended to the last by the special forces troops trained by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.”

"The C.I.A.'s growth was 'likened to a malignancy' which the 'very high official was not sure even the White House could control... any longer.' 'If the United States ever experiences [an attempt at a coup to overthrow the Government] it will come from the C.I.A. and not the Pentagon.' The agency 'represents a tremendous power and total unaccountability to anyone.'
Arthur Krock The New York Times October 3, 1963

"As early as 1961 they knew that Kennedy was not going to go to war in Southeast Asia. Like Caesar, he is surrounded by enemies and something is underway. But it has no face; yet everyone in the loop knows."

X (Fletcher Prouty) Oliver Stone's "JFK"

Several military historians of the Kennedy era, notably John M. Newman and Fletcher Prouty, have written that JFK was trying to reign in the power of the CIA throughout most of his abbreviated term in office. Some have wondered, in the context of an evolving Cuba policy and a planned withdrawal from Vietnam, both hot spots for CIA hell-raisers, if this may have been a motivation for his murder.

Contemporaneous documents suggesting friction between the Agency and JFK are limited, but hardly nonexistent. There is, for example, Kennedy's angry remark following the Bay of Pigs fiasco that he would "tear [the CIA] into a thousand pieces and scatter it to the wind." Although he replaced the Agency's top leadership, he clearly did not follow through completely on his threat. So what did he do?

His first major step, apparently, was to issue NSAM-55 on June 28, 1961. Newman writes, "The crux of NSAM-55, however, was this: Kennedy charged the Joint Chiefs with responsibility for 'defense of the nation in the Cold War' and 'dynamic and imaginative leadership... of military and paramilitary aspects of Cold War programs.' This mandate was _big_ news, since cold war paramilitary operations were--up to this moment--the exclusive fiefdom of the CIA." (JFK and Vietnam, 98)

Here (from Edward B. Claflin, JFK Wants to Know, 68) is NSAM-55 in its entirety:
June 28, 1961

TO: The Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff
SUBJECT: Relations of the Joint Chiefs of Staff to the President in cold war operations

I wish to inform the Joint Chiefs of Staff as follows with regard to my views of their relations to me in cold war operations:

a. I regard the Joint Chiefs of Staff as my principal military adviser responsible both for initiating advice to me and for responding to requests for advice. I expect their advice to come to me direct and unfiltered.

b. The Joint Chiefs of Staff have a responsibility for the defense of the nation in the cold war similar to that which they have in conventional hostilities. They should know the military and paramilitary forces and resources available to the Department of Defense, verify their readiness, report on their adequacy, and make appropriate recommendations for their expansion and improvement. I look to the Chiefs to contribute dynamic and imaginative leadership in contributing to the success of the military and paramilitary aspects of cold war programs.

c. I expect the Joint Chiefs of Staff to present the military view-point in governmental councils in such a way as to assure that the military factors are clearly understood before decisions are reached. When only the chairman or a single chief is present, that officer must represent the Chiefs as a body taking such preliminary and subsequent actions as may be necessary to assure that he does in fact represent the corporate judgment of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

d. While I look to the Chiefs to present the military factor without reserve or hesitation, I regard them to be more than military men and expect their help in fitting military requirements into the overall context of any situation, recognizing that the most difficult problem in government is to combine all aspects in a unified, effective pattern.

John F. Kennedy

Note that the President took the unusual step of signing this NSAM himself; most others were issued over McGeorge Bundy's signature.

by Gregory Douglas (Monte Sano Media, 2002; 224 pgs.; $19.95 — ISBN 1591482976).

Your first reaction may be the same as mine — an addition to the several dozen books already written, struggling with the obvious fiction of the Warren Report! This is not the case, however. You should notice the word “Official” in the sub-title. While working on his book “Gestapo Chief,” the biography of Heinrich Muller, Gregory Douglas became acquainted, and then good friends, with Robert T. Crowley, former Assistant Deputy Director of Clandestine Operations of the CIA. Crowley, or “Crow” as he was known within the CIA, had been a close associate and supervisor of Muller when he was brought into the CIA following WWII.

After his retirement and increasing age with an approaching chest operation where cancer was suspected, Crowley turned over his files to the author, Gregory Douglas, with the understanding that they were not to be opened, or used until after his death. On Tuesday, 10 October 2000, on page 6, the Washington Post reported the death of “Robert Trumbull Crowley, 76, a senior CIA official…”
Douglas was now free to use the Crowley papers. This astounding book is the result: “The Official Assassination of John F. Kennedy”! To a major extent it is the reproduction of much of Robert T. Crowley’s files in the typewritten print of those files, with Crowley’s underscoring and emphasis on them, along with the explanations by Gregory Douglas. The book is so astounding that many may find themselves questioning the authenticity of even this original file material as I did. Therefore I refer you to two other sources:

1) The New York Times of 3 October 1963 editorial page (50 days previous to the assassination of JFK) carried a column by the well-known journalist Arthur Krock, “The Intra-Administration War in Vietnam” in which he described the CIA in Viet-Nam refusing to carry out orders from the President delivered to them by Ambassador Lodge. In closing this column Krock says, “If the United States ever experiences an attempt at a coup to overthrow the Government it will come from the CIA and not the Pentagon.”

2) In 1973 Col L. Fletcher Prouty, USAF (Ret), after retirement from nine years as the liaison officer for the Pentagon with the CIA, wrote a book, “The Secret Team — The CIA and its Allies in control of the United States and the World.”

These two items by independent authors overlap and support what you will find in this book. It was the compatibility of what Arthur Krock and Fletcher Prouty, independent authors, had written that gave me assurance that I was reading authentic documents.

In the review of CIA “Operation Zipper” in this book you will see CIA agents James J. Angleton and Robert T. Crowley planning the assassination of the president, beginning in early March of 1963. Before the end of March, according to the documents, J. Edgar Hoover of the FBI, Lyndon B. Johnson, Vice President, and General Lyman Lemnitzer, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, had been brought into the plan along with the Chicago Mafia and Israeli Mossad. The Chicago Mafia’s recruitment of the Corsican Mafia assassins in Marseille, France, alerted French Intelligence that a political assassination was planned in the U.S. and they alerted the U.S. Embassy, who apparently alerted no one. LBJ was concerned that he was also targeted and had to be assured by J. Edgar Hoover that he was not a target. It seems clear Lee Harvey Oswald was strictly the “patsy” he claimed to be.

Why and how did the CIA persuade so many high government officials to join them in a coup to overthrow the elected U.S. government? It is all here! Crowley was convinced the “Zipper” project was in the best interest of the country! You will find it helpful to review your history of the Cuban Bay of Pigs fiasco and the Cuban missile crisis, which brought about a fatal fracture of trust between the President and his intelligence agency! Also the CIA had discovered that via his brother, Robert Kennedy, and the senior KGB agent in the Washington USSR Embassy, the President had established a private line of communication with Nikita Khrushchev which the CIA considered treasonous.

Where JFK had planned to reduce our commitments and involvement in Viet-Nam, LBJ engineered the Gulf of Tonkin incident and expanded them. JFK was strongly opposing the Israeli development of nuclear weapons — LBJ was complacent and ignored these developments.

Editor’s note: When this series was prepared, a number of conversations were deliberately redacted because they were either very personal in nature or, more important, contained specific material which we felt might have considerable impact and present potential danger in publication. Now that all of the conversations are being readied for publication, along with illustrative specific notes, we are publishing many of the hitherto off-limits examples. Enjoy them!

On October 8th, 2000, Robert Trumbull Crowley, once a leader of the CIA’s Clandestine Operations Division, died in a Washington hospital of heart failure and the end effects of Alzheimer’s Disease. Before the late Assistant Director Crowley was cold, Joseph Trento, a writer of light-weight books on the CIA, descended on Crowley’s widow at her town house on Cathedral Hill Drive in Washington and hauled away over fifty boxes of Crowley’s CIA files.

Once Trento had his new find secure in his house in Front Royal , Virginia, he called a well-known Washington fix lawyer with the news of his success in securing what the CIA had always considered to be a potential major embarrassment. Three months before, July 20th of that year, retired Marine Corps colonel William R. Corson, and an associate of Crowley, died of emphysema and lung cancer at a hospital in Bethesda, Md.

After Corson’s death, Trento and a well-known Washington fix-lawyer went to Corson’s bank, got into his safe deposit box and removed a manuscript entitled ‘Zipper.’ This manuscript, which dealt with Crowley’s involvement in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy, vanished into a CIA burn-bag and the matter was considered to be closed forever.

The small group of CIA officials gathered at Trento’s house to search through the Crowley papers, looking for documents that must not become public. A few were found but, to their consternation, a significant number of files Crowley was known to have had in his possession had simply vanished.

When published material concerning the CIA’s actions against Kennedy became public in 2002, it was discovered to the CIA’s horror, that the missing documents had been sent by an increasingly erratic Crowley to another person and these missing papers included devastating material on the CIA’s activities in South East Asia to include drug running, money laundering and the maintenance of the notorious ‘Regional Interrogation Centers’ in Viet Nam and, worse still, the Zipper files proving the CIA’s active organization of the assassination of President John Kennedy..

A massive, preemptive disinformation campaign was readied, using government-friendly bloggers, CIA-paid “historians” and others, in the event that anything from this file ever surfaced. The best-laid plans often go astray and in this case, one of the compliant historians, a former government librarian who fancied himself a serious writer, began to tell his friends about the CIA plan to kill Kennedy and eventually, word of this began to leak out into the outside world.

The originals had vanished and an extensive search was conducted by the FBI and CIA operatives but without success. Crowley’s survivors, his aged wife and son, were interviewed extensively by the FBI and instructed to minimize any discussion of highly damaging CIA files that Crowley had, illegally, removed from Langley when he retired. Crowley had been a close friend of James Jesus Angleton, the CIA’s notorious head of Counterintelligence. When Angleton was sacked by DCI William Colby in December of 1974, Crowley and Angleton conspired to secretly remove Angleton’s most sensitive secret files our of the agency. Crowley did the same thing right before his own retirement , secretly removing thousands of pages of classified information that covered his entire agency career.

Known as “The Crow” within the agency, Robert T. Crowley joined the CIA at its inception and spent his entire career in the Directorate of Plans, also know as the “Department of Dirty Tricks,”: Crowley was one of the tallest man ever to work at the CIA. Born in 1924 and raised in Chicago, Crowley grew to six and a half feet when he entered the U.S. Military Academy at West Point in N.Y. as a cadet in 1943 in the class of 1946. He never graduated, having enlisted in the Army, serving in the Pacific during World War II. He retired from the Army Reserve in 1986 as a lieutenant colonel. According to a book he authored with his friend and colleague, William Corson, Crowley’s career included service in military intelligence and Naval Intelligence, before joining the CIA at inception in 1947. His entire career at the agency was spent within the Directorate of Plans in covert operations. Before his retirement, Bob Crowley became assistant deputy director for operations, the second-in-command in the Clandestine Directorate of Operations.

One of Crowley’s first major assignments within the agency was to assist in the recruitment and management of prominent World War II Nazis, especially those with advanced intelligence experience. One of the CIA’s major recruitment coups was Heinrich Mueller, once head of Hitler’s Gestapo who had fled to Switzerland after the collapse of the Third Reich and worked as an anti-Communist expert for Masson of Swiss counterintelligence. Mueller was initially hired by Colonel James Critchfield of the CIA, who was running the Gehlen Organization out of Pullach in southern Germany. Crowley eventually came to despise Critchfield but the colonel was totally unaware of this, to his later dismay.

Crowley’s real expertise within the agency was the Soviet KGB. One of his main jobs throughout his career was acting as the agency liaison with corporations like ITT, which the CIA often used as fronts for moving large amounts of cash off their books. He was deeply involved in the efforts by the U.S. to overthrow the democratically elected government of Salvador Allende in Chile, which eventually got him into legal problems with regard to investigations of the U.S. government’s grand jury where he has perjured himself in an agency cover-up

After his retirement, Crowley began to search for someone who might be able to write a competent history of his career. His first choice fell on British author John Costello (author of Ten Days to Destiny, The Pacific War and other works) but, discovering that Costello was a very aggressive homosexual, he dropped him and tentatively turned to Joseph Trento who had assisted Crowley and William Corson in writing a book on the KGB. When Crowley discovered that Trento had an ambiguous and probably cooperative relationship with the CIA, he began to distrust him and continued his search for an author.

Bob Crowley first contacted Gregory Douglas in 1993 when he found out from John Costello that Douglas was about to publish his first book on Heinrich Mueller, the former head of the Gestapo who had become a secret, long-time asset to the CIA. Crowley contacted Douglas and they began a series of long and often very informative telephone conversations that lasted for four years. . In 1996, Crowley , Crowley told Douglas that he believed him to be the person that should ultimately tell Crowley’s story but only after Crowley’s death. Douglas, for his part, became so entranced with some of the material that Crowley began to share with him that he secretly began to record their conversations, later transcribing them word for word, planning to incorporate some, or all, of the material in later publications.

In 1998, when Crowley was slated to go into the hospital for exploratory surgery, he had his son, Greg, ship two large foot lockers of documents to Douglas with the caveat that they were not to be opened until after Crowley’s death. These documents, totaled an astonishing 15,000 pages of CIA classified files involving many covert operations, both foreign and domestic, during the Cold War.

After Crowley’s death and Trento’s raid on the Crowley files, huge gaps were subsequently discovered by horrified CIA officials and when Crowley’s friends mentioned Gregory Douglas, it was discovered that Crowley’s son had shipped two large boxes to Douglas. No one knew their contents but because Douglas was viewed as an uncontrollable loose cannon who had done considerable damage to the CIA’s reputation by his on-going publication of the history of Gestapo-Mueller, they bent every effort both to identify the missing files and make some effort to retrieve them before Douglas made any use of them.

All of this furor eventually came to the attention of Dr. Peter Janney, a Massachusetts clinical psychologist and son of Wistar Janney, another career senior CIA official, colleague of not only Bob Crowley but Cord Meyer, Richard Helms, Jim Angleton and others. Janney was working on a book concerning the murder of Mary Pinchot Meyer, former wife of Cord Meyer, a high-level CIA official, and later the mistress of President John F. Kennedy. Douglas had authored a book, ‘Regicide’ which dealt with Crowley’s part in the Kennedy assassination and he obviously had access to at least some of Crowley’s papers. Janney was very well connected inside the CIA’s higher levels and when he discovered that Douglas had indeed known, and had often spoken with, Crowley and that after Crowley’s death, the FBI had descended on Crowley’s widow and son, warning them to never speak with Douglas about anything, he contacted Douglas and finally obtained from him a number of original documents, including the originals of the transcribed conversations with Robert Crowley.

In spite of the burn bags, the top secret safes and the vigilance of the CIA to keep its own secrets, the truth has an embarrassing and often very fatal habit of emerging, albeit decades later.

While CIA drug running , money-launderings and brutal assassinations are very often strongly rumored and suspected, it has so far not been possible to actually pin them down but it is more than possible that the publication of the transcribed and detailed Crowley-Douglas conversations will do a great deal towards accomplishing this.

These many transcribed conversations are relatively short because Crowley was a man who tired easily but they make excellent reading. There is an interesting admixture of shocking revelations on the part of the retired CIA official and often rampant anti-social (and very entertaining) activities on the part of Douglas but readers of this new and on-going series are gently reminded to always look for the truth in the jest!

GD: I have been trying to work up an article on the BCCI and thought, Robert, you might have some knowledge of it, seeing as Corson told me you knew about them.

RTC: Bill has a motor mouth but yes, I know about them. What are you looking for?

GD: There has been quite a bit of comment on and off in the press about this and, as I said, Bill commented on this.

RTC: Well, BCCI was, is, a Paki bank, set up by a high-rolling con man and fraud expert named Abedi. We had connections with him and some of his people and he was willing to help us fund the anti-Russian rebels in Afghanistan but off the books. Critchfield had a hand in all of this gun business as you know. These people were a farce, setting up all kinds of off shore banks and basicially, it was nothing but a Ponzi scheme but one that we got into and were able to shut up a number of trouble makers along the way. And the Abedi people had connections with the Paki ISI…

GD: Pardon?

RTC: Called the Directorate for Inter-Services Intelligence. A Limey set it up at the time the Pakis broke off from India in the late ‘40s,. They basicially were the power behind the throne in Pakistan…ran everything, took huge bribes from us on one hand and the Russians on the other. Typical bunch of worthless raghead scum. Never turn you back on any of them,, ever, Gregory, or you get a knife in it. My, what a game that turned out to be. We had such a stake in all of that mess that we had to make sure it was kept quiet, at least until we managed to get Ivan out of Afghanistan. Oh yes, there were complaints because the BCCI people were not only outright frauds but very obvious to the legitimate bankers here. Oh, a nice conversation there and someone falling off a cliff there but these greedy crooks just got too much hubris and finally it began to unravel. You must have read about this. F. Lee Bailey was a front for them and God knows how many throughly rotten Congressmen, regulatory people and so on were on the take. I mean there was so much bribe money flowing out of those people you couldn’t wonder how high it went. They dragged old Clark Clifford into it and others. Of course Clark has a great opinion of himself and had no problem taking money for his services.

GD: And your people?

RTC: I have pounds of filched files on this. Poor Trento thinks he’s going to get them and write a Pulitizer Prise winner out of it. I ought to send them to you. Would you like that?

GD: And have Paki assassins lurking on my front porch, cunningly disguised as piles of dog droppings? Probably not…although…

RTC: Well, Trento is far too stupid to know what to do with them so if I don’t send them to you, I might burn them. Emily shouldn’t have to deal with it when I’m gone and Greg…my son, not you…wouldn’t have a clue. Yes, I can send them to you and you can do what you want with them. My God, Gregory, billions of dollars in taxpayers funds lining pockets from here to Karachi.

GD: Critchfield?

RTC: Among others…but not me. Jim made so much money from the rag heads that I’m surprised he didn’t buy the Capitol as a barn for his stupid horses.

GD: And Atwood…

RTC: Small potatoes. The roster of the anointed reads like the Washington social calendar. Senator this and Director that.

GD: Kimmel?
RTC: Oh, God, no, not Dudley Doright. And don’t mention any of this to him. He wouldn’t have the fantest idea what to do with it and if he tried, he would join brother Colby in the boneyard. I tell you, Gregory, when we started the Company in ’48, believe it or not, we were a bunch of idealists. Of course the Cold War was a fake but we were really interested in fucking up old Joe Stalin and also thwarting the liberal kikes inside the Beltway. Still, idealists at heart. The thievery started later. Gregory, put a poorish man in a room full of gold coins and a few will stick to his feet. Sometimes more than a few. I ran the CIA’s business section and believe me, it was a wonderful rerlationship with the latter-day robber barons. The slide rule Shylocks. I rather like you, Gregory and if I gave you come of the papers I collected, you would either die or become very, very rich. I think they call it blackmail.

GD: One has to be careful what that, Robert. For instance, you tell me Angleton was in with the mob…

RTC: And the kikes too, don’t forget that. I really liked and admired Jim but…

GD: Yes. That’s like having a best friend from college who pimps autistic children to fat old men,

RTC: Yes, more or less but Jim had terrible friends. They got more out of him than he ever got out of them, let me advise you.

GD: I got the better of a Jew once and I thought the bugger would explode. On the other hand, I would never try to get the better of a Mafioso. I’ve known a few and I get on fine with them but try to screw them? I think not. Well, most of them have a really well developed sense of honor and the Jews do not. And they hate the Jews.

RTC: But Lansky…

GD: An exception. There is always an exception. Well, I might take some of your background material on the BCCI people if you have it to hand and it isn’t too much trouble. I always thought Clark Clifford was a triple plated phony anyway. Him and Alan Cranston.

RTC: Agreed but why stop there?

GD: I’d be on this call for three days straight, just reading off the names. Isn’t America blessed to have to many thieves that get away with it?

RTC: Well, if you steal a dollar, you are a thief but if you steal ten million, you are a financier.

RTC: Or a Republican.

Editorial comment: The Douglas book on the Kennedy assassination was not received by official Washington and the FBI cut a deal with Mr. Germar Rudolf, the publisher. In return for securing the copyright from author Douglas, they would guarantee he could stay in the United States although the German government was seeking to extradite him to serve a prison sentence. The plan fell through but during its death struggles, it became very evident that ‘Regicide’ was not on the CIA’s Book-of-the-Month Club list. For this reason, we are going to publish the entire book, a chapter at a time. ‘Regicide’ sold very well until the government rounded up all the copies still unsold and locked them up in storage. We hope you all enjoy it!

Both Fascinating and Frustrating
James H. Fetzer

[Editor's Note: The author has had numerous contacts with Gregory Douglas and has reviewed his book no less than three times, twice for and once for this journal (see below). While much of their content has been similar, their conclusions have varied from moderately qualified enthusiasm to moderately qualified skepticism. This preface explains why.]

Without doubt, Gregory Douglas has published one of the most fascinating books ever written on the assassination of JFK. REGICIDE (2002) purports to lay the origins of the death of our 35th President at the feet of officials of the CIA, the FBI, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff. The scenario it describes suggests that the decision to removed JFK from office was motivated out of concern for the national security of the US, after James Jesus Angleton, legendary Chief of Counterintelligence for the CIA, concluded that JFK was betraying the country and that any alternative, legal means of action would be unlikely to succeed.

According to Douglas' reconstruction of the sequence of events, because the CIA and the Mafia both wanted JFK out, it was easy to draw in the mob, which eventually led to the recruitment of French assassins from Marseilles. The FBI was bought on board, then the Vice President, and finally the Joint Chiefs, who were enthusiastic about removing him from office. (This accords with James Bamford, BODY OF SECRETS (2001), whose new disclosures about OPERATION NORTHWOODS were discussed in "On the origins of the assassination of JFK", ASSASSINATION RESEARCH 1/1 (2002).)

The plan to assassinate JFK was called OPERATION ZIPPER because the target allegedly had trouble keeping his up. According to Douglas, the assassination weapons were two 7.65 surplus Argentine Mausers and a specially constructed .223 calibre rifle, which was supplied with mercury-filled bullets. (In his video, "The Murder of JFK: Confession of an Assassin" (1996), James Files, describes a highvelocity .223 Remington "Fireball" as his weapon, which was a pistol but one that was shoulder-supported and could be misdescribed as a "rifle".)

Serious students of this case will find much here that has the ring of truth. The recruitment of Marseilles shooters, for example, has also been endorsed in the British video series, "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" (1988), first shown in the United States in 1992. My personal opinion is that those who wanted him dead would not have entrusted the shooting to a group of Frenchmen, whom they would have considered to be unreliable, undependable, and even pansies, but would have assigned this mission to men they knew personally and could trust.

Additional evidence on this point, however, might cause me to reconsider. The reconstruction of the shooting itself falls short on all of these accounts, since we now know much more about what happened in Dealey Plaza and how it was covered up. Jack alone was hit four times--once in the throat from in front, once in the back from behind, and twice in the head, once from behind and once from in front--while Connally was hit anywhere from one to three times; another shot missed and injured a distant by-stander; another missed an hit the chrome strip above the limousine windshield and another was retrieved from the dirt opposite the grassy knoll. So there were actually some eight, nine, or ten shots fired from at least six locations. It seems odd that all the studies offer three shot scenarios.

Nevertheless, those familiar with Noel Twyman's BLOODY TREASON (1997) and with James Bamford's BODY OF SECRETS (2001) will appreciate the extent to which the big picture fits. The very existence of the ZIPPER document is likely to generate the most controversy, since it is difficult to imagine that principals to the assassination would record their meetings about it. But if they were utterly sincere in their belief that JFK was a traitor and had to be removed to protect the nation, then that becomes more plausible. According to the ZIPPER document:

(1) the removal of the President and the Attorney General had been determined
to be necessary because of acts of high treason;

(2) removal by impeachment or other legal means had been discussed but was
considered to be impractical and too protracted;

(3) therefore, an alternative solution--presumably, an assassination--had been
decided upon to effect this removal;

(4) this removal was the result of consensus between the official agencies that
had been consulted in this matter;

(5) that this operation was under the direction of James Angleton assisted by Robert
Crowley and William Harvey, all of the CIA;

(6) where the government agencies directly concerned with the assassination
were the CIA, the FBI, and the Joint Chiefs of Staff; and,

(7) following the assassination, the new President, who had been fully briefed
prior to the event, agreed to appoint a special commission chaired by the Chief
Justice for the purpose of "setting public concerns to rest".

According to this document, Angelton would be in complete control of all the evidence that would be presented to the commission and work closely with William Sullivan, Deputy Director of the FBI, to make sure that nothing came before the commission's members that they would not want to acknowledge. There is much more here, including LBJ's reluctance to invade Cuba again, even though such a plan was strongly supported by the Joint Chiefs and the CIA, but that he would be supportive of military action in French Indo China (Viet Nam). The problem is that all of this seems too good to be true. Douglas has advised me that he had had the documents examined by an expert on typewriters and that the Soviet/DIA studies (one record with two parts), an FBI memorandum from J. Edgar Hoover of 29 November 1963, and the ZIPPER document were all typed on different machines of kinds that were in contemporary usage. If this book has been intended as a scam, the point would be to present an essentially correct account of the assassination in a publication that can later be discredited, where the public is then taken in by assuming that, since the book itself is not credible, the account of the assassination that it presents is not credible, either.

If appearances are reality and these documents turn out to be authentic, then the true origins and character of the government's conspiracy to kill its own President will have been established by a documentary record complementing what we already know about the death of JFK. Douglas makes clear that Crowley's willingness to assist him in these ways was largely motivated by a driving desire to attain a sense of exoneration by explaining why he and others who played crucial roles were convinced that JFK had to be removed. It is a chilling scenario.

When Crowley retired from the CIA in the 1980s, he took a significant quantity of important historical documents with him and, prior to his death, gave a number of these to various historians with whom he occasionally cooperated.

Among these documents was a lengthy paper prepared by the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) in 1978 as a commentary on Soviet intelligence evaluations of the Kennedy assassination.

The Defense Intelligence Agency, a branch of the Department of Defense, specializes in the analysis of foreign military technical intelligence.

This document was considered highly sensitive, for reasons that shall shortly become very evident, and its distribution was limited to a handful of copies with severely restricted circulation.

Crowley had a copy of this explosive document because he had personal knowledge of the factors and personalities behind the assassination and had, in fact, prior professional knowledge of the information contained in the DIA secret paper.

The second and certainly even more important document is a 98 pages long paper entitled “OPERATION ZIPPER Conference Record.” This document is a long list of decisions and activities of various U.S. authorities in a project with the code name “Operation ZIPPER.”

The distribution of this document was restricted to five persons, one of them being R. T. Crowley, in whose papers a copy of it was found.

This book uses the official DIA Report and the “Operation ZIPPER” document as its framework. In addition to that, the author uses the notes he made during endless hours of conversation he had with R. T. Crowley in the years between 1993 and 1996, and has dug deeply into the great body of literature on the assassination of J. F. Kennedy to flesh out what has proven to be a very ugly skeleton. In sum, it puts sinews and flesh on the bones of a monster.

The loss of faith is a terrible matter and one can say after reading these papers and with bitter truth: “Who then will guard the guardians?”

Barry Seal, “the biggest drug smuggler in American history”, while working for the CIA, was funneling the immense amount of cocaine of the Iran-Contra Operation right through Mena, Arkansas, under the watch of Bill Clinton. The purpose of the Iran Contra affair was to accumulate funds to secretly finance the Mujahideen, particularly Gulbuddin Hekmetyar, a member of the Muslim Brotherhood, and later bin Laden.

Again, this was the chief strategy of the Neoconservatives. So it ties into the other video I recommended, the Power of Nightmares. The whole thing was headed by George Bush Sr.

Well, it turns out Barry Seal had been recruited at the age of seventeen, along with Lee Oswald, by CIA agent David Ferrie, at a two week summer camp of the Louisiana Civil Air Patrol in 1957. David Ferrie is the fiend and pedophile portrayed by Joe Pecci in Oliver Stone’s JFK. (Mad Cow Morning News)

Hopsicker also has a very interesting movie about Seal, called American Drug Lords: Ties to JFK:

A career U.S. intelligence agent, Ferrie was a participant in the assassination of President Kennedy, and the first focal point of Jim Garrison’s investigation of Kennedy’s murder. The assassination team went by the name of Operation 40, established by Allen Dulles, which played a major role in the Bay of Pigs invasion. The group was presided over by then-Vice President Richard M. Nixon and recruited former Batista-regime intelligence officers and mob henchmen, mercenaries like Frank Sturgis and CIA case officer Howard Hunt, who would later become one of the Watergate burglars. As revealed by John Hankey, in his film JFK II, at a 1975 Senate re-investigation into the case, William Colby, as head of CIA, testified that George Bush Sr. and Hunt headed the Kennedy assassination, but said that “…they weren’t really in charge. They were just taking orders from civilians like Allen Dulles and the Rockefellers.” Colby was then promptly dismissed, and George Bush was appointed to head the CIA in his place.

Compilation of writings on the death of JFK...

So it begins to grow. You have the Parliament, the legal establishment, the military, the local police, the bankers, and the journalists. And when I say there is a coup d' état in this country to overthrow the government, whether it's John Kennedy or Robert Kennedy or Martin Luther King, it involves members of Congress, it involves justices of the Supreme Court, judges, members of our army, members of the police department, particular bankers, and newspaper syndicates to keep a lid on it. All of those elements in our conspiracies and assassinations are linked also to the secret society that is less secret this week because the stories are breaking.

It could be that a lot of this is coming out because Mehmet Ali Agca from Turkey—who is linked to this, and the assassination attempt on the Pope—is sitting in jail in Rome and he might be talking; he might be giving out connecting links. And that's [maybe] why this story broke this week, because he's laughing and joking, and they have a scandal which maybe they were going to tap some wrists for the $2 billion going to Argentina. But with the shooting of the Pope and [Agca] sitting in the jail, it just may be that this is why this story of the scandal had to come out on the Parliament, the judges, the army, the police, the bankers, and the journalists.

Mr. Licio Gelli, G-E-L-L-I, as I say, is the grand master for the spying, and he holds dual citizenship. Another member of his gang, Mr. Sarti, a member of the Christian Democratic Party—they said it was inconsistant to belong to both—is also a part of the secret society of the [P-2] lodge.

Now, the New York Times had another section in this article on the members of the government who were involved and has a list of their names and the grand master's affiliation to Argentina and the fascist organizations. The goals of the grand master, according to the New York Times:

...has been to bring under his contol a large number of powerful and highly placed persons and thus to break down, for the first time in Italian history, the separation between political, administrative, military and economic spheres.

This is what happened when Hitler took over in Germany in 1933. And this is what happened after John Kennedy was killed in November of 1963. The continuous killing of particular leaders, like John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, and Adlai Stevenson. I even think that Drew Pearson and Walter Winchell were murdered. Journalists or people who do not play the game runs into the hundreds.

The goal isn't any different than stated in the New York Times this week: The grand master wants to bring under the control a large number of powerful people, highly placed, to breakdown for the first time in Italian history the separation of the political, administrative, military and economic spheres.

This is what happened in Dallas in 1963, to breakdown, in the United States, the separation of the elements of our government and put them under the control of one large heirarchy which they've been trying to do from Dallas up to the Reagan Administration.

Gelli, according to the New York Times, constructed a state within a state. A very real state within a state. And that's exactly what Allen Dulles did in planning the assassination of John Kennedy. I wrote about that in my first published article "Why Was Martha Mitchell kidnapped"—a state within a state. And now in Italy a piece of that is being exposed.

The method they used, according to the New York Times, was blackmail. They promised favors, advancement, and bribes—but blackmail. I've talked many times on the women; the organized crime links to public officials; the sexual pictures that people like Edward Bennett Williams, the attorney for John Hinkley, holds in his pocket; the blackmailing of all political figures and military officials, generals, and admirals that the Howard Hughes Organization had; the sexual exploits; the use of the mob for blackmail and entrapping various people. The same technique was used in Germay; it was used by Bobby Baker and Lyndon Johnson; it was used by J. Edgar Hoover and William Sullivan of the FBI; The techniques aren't any different.

The important thing is that all the techniques that I've been talking about for the past years are surfacing now at this time because there are very few countries or people that can survive if we allow these things to keep going. And the Italian courts are arresting people and putting them in jail and making these charges.

The banks in Italy have been charged with exporting large sums of money because of the dual citizenship. They are also charging Mr. Gelli with the fake kidnapping of Michele Sindona. When Sindona was arrested in the United States for the bank fraud and the financial shinanigans, he took a little trip to Luxemberg and Italy to see his buddies, and a few judges were killed; dropped dead on the spot. Sindona took a trip to Italy to either get his payoff or his message, and then he came back to the United States; he had passports to travel. This group is responsible for the, in quotes, "kidnapping". They simply put him on a plane and our Secret Service and Interpol and the American officials allowed him to go to Italy to clean up the loose ends; this group was involved with Sindona leaving the country and coming back.

This Roberto Calvi, the president of the Banco Ambrosiano and of La Centrale Finanziaria—I may not pronounce those properly—these important banks in Italy, financial organizations, are involved in this scandal. Six members of the board of the La Centrale, a large bank in Italy, were arrested this week. And the head of a large investment financial company, one of the four largest in Italy, has been arrested for his dual allegiance to the Odessa down in Argentina and not to Italy; the world fascism, as [opposed to] taking care of their own country at home.

Okay, this is Mae Brussell, talking about the scandal going on in Italy; the government behind a government; the secret team. This has been taking place in the United States for the past 17 or 18 years. It's more open since the murder of John Kennedy. That secret team was caught sending $2 billion out of Italy to Argentina, for purposes of a fascist organization with allegiance larger than the Italian government.

We hear talk about the Soviet Union and world communism, but there's very little talk about world fascism, even though very many countries have been overthrown in the past 30 years for the expressed purpose of the resurgence of the Nazi regime. As soon as Pinochete was in power in Chile the swastikas came out. And I can go on and on about the various countries that are linked and funded by this activity.

Going back to the New York Times article on the Italian elite embroiled in the Masonic scandal: Henry Tanner said the financial establishment has been decapitated by the arrest of the various banking officials; in Milan the story came out that they have literally been decapitated; the financial establishment is in limbo. Also, the same banker that is involved with these shinanigans, this Roberto Calvi, recently bought 40 percent of a particular publishing house, the Rizzoli Publishing Group. And he owns Corriere della Sera, a leading newspaper in Italy.

You can make the same comparisons to the major news media in this country: CBS, NBC, ABC Broadcasting, the talk shows, the news that comes over these stations, and the major newspapers, such as the AP and the UPI in the United States. They have an allegiance that goes much farther than to the United States. It is to a world order, and the world order is fascism. They do not tell the truth on these assassinations, whether it's the Manson Family, the SLA, the multi-murders of the mind control zombies, the John Lennon killing, the Jonestown killings. The newspaper media is controlled in this country like it is in Italy: by pay-offs, by people placed in top positions in order to allow that world fascism.

A perfect example is Gerald Ford, who was a member of the House of Representatives, and was appointed to the Warren Commission when John Kennedy was murdered. He was appointed there by former vice-president Richard Nixon. And the very first meeting—I've had this many times on the air—the subject came up, Earl Warren said: "What should we do about handling the local press?" Handling meant to keep from the American people Lee Harvey Oswald's links to the world Nazi organization, or the breaking up of Detente at the time Eisenhower and Khruschev wanted peace (that was before Kennedy was in power, when Eisenhower wanted peace). Having the U2 flight come down so Khruschev would call off the Peace Conference. Earl Warren hid the Nazi links to Lee Harvey Oswald after that great feat.

They said in their meetings: "What should we do about the local press if they want a story?" And Gerald Ford said: "Well, gentlemen, I can handle the AP"—the Associated Press—"and the UPI." Meaning, "I control the two major sources of news coming out of the country and the small newspapers will have to take them on their own."

Whatever goes to the major newspapers comes over the wire services. It was that kind of protection, and it now is more important for you to realize the role of Gerald Ford on 15 or 16 major corporations, and with Anna Chennault and the Flying Tigers and the Pebble Beach Corporation. He's a multi-national millionaire with links to the same fascist organizations from the Dallas-Fort Worth area that work with John Hinkley, Sr. and Jr., and his fangs of fascism haven't changed one bit since he was appointed to the Warren Commission.

Richard Nixon was working with Nicolae Malaxa of the Romanian Iron Guard that had headquarters down in Argentina. They used Nixon's office in Whittier as a cover dummy front for Western Tube Corporation—a non-existent fascist organization.

These people (the Gerald Fords and the Richard Nixons) have allegiance to this same hidden government or fascist organization in Argentina that the Italian government has that's being exposed now. I wrote about that in my Watergate articles in 1972, and now it's coming out in Italy. But don't think the heads of states represent the interests of the people in the United States or their welfare, or are concerned about their savings or security or livelihood or their housing or their health.

The wealth and the profits and the banks that are spilling over, the narcotics traffic profits going down to those funds down in South America—to Uraguay, Paraguay, Chile, Argentina—are part and parcel to the same Italian secret society that got a little exposure this week, and probably will be getting more in the weeks to come. As I say, these men are involved in newspapers and own important newspapers in Italy.

Among the army generals named in this scandal, there's a name that appeared on the list as a mason member of the secret lodge. His name is Rafael Giudici, G-I-U-D-I-C-E, former commander of the Finance Guard. He's the head of the paramilitary force, specializing in border control and anti-smuggling operations. The thing that funds these fascist organizations is smuggling operations: heroine, cocaine, you name it—all over the world. Whether it is, in any form, the hashish, the marajuana, and so forth.

So the head of the anti-smuggling operation (border control) is a member of the secret society with the dual allegiance.

If you wonder how Mehmet Ali Agca traveled from a prison in 1979 and left there in November, and had $50,000 to spend before he ended up in St. Peters where he shot at the Pope—his money comes from those operations. He travelled over the borders, from Iran and back into Turkey and into Bulgaria and Switzerland and Germany and England and down to Palermo and Sicily and Tunisia, he was in Naples and back to Rome, and Myorka. Those people who are part of these assassination teams, whether it's Mark David Chapman, who shot John Lennon; or the man who shot the Pope; or John Hinkley who can travel all around the United States, into New Haven, New York, Alabama, Georgia, Chicago, St. Louis, Missouri, Texas, all over the globe, and back to Hollywood; They zig-zag all around; they have money; In this country they cross state lines with no trouble; In Europe they go all over the place; And if they leave the United States they can travel all around the world like Chapman did: Bankok, Hong Kong, Zurik, Switzerland, London, back to Hawaii, Georgia, and New York—the guy that shot John Lennon.

If the man in charge of border controls and anti-smuggling operations in these countries—if those people are involved with this dual allegiance, that tells you how Interpol can't find them, because Interpol is part and parcel to the same fabric-family.

Another man in jail in Italy at the present time in connection with this fraud—sending money overseas—was another high officer in the army. He worked with this Giudici as a part of the finance operation and the smuggling operation.

These high officials are now being put in jail, but they had important positions.

On this list of traitors was 20 known officers of the organization called the "Carabineri." That's a prestigious para-military police court. That's the equivilant of our SWAT teams in Los Angeles; in San Francisco; in Atlanta, Georgia; the New York City Red Squad; the Chicago Squads—these are select groups. Our Attorney General this week said that the SWAT teams, the select teams, are on the lookout for terrorists, or for people rioting this summer in the streets. Ronald Reagan is going to cut off [people's] occupations, their sources of income, their savings, and we'll have riots. So in came the prestigious para-military police court. They're training down in Camp Roberts with simulated warfare—that's one place in California where they're carrying on their mini-war.

The troops are ready to handle us, the prestigious para-military police groups, similar to Squad 19. [Squad 19 is] the Los Angeles Police Department group that worked with Richard Nixon and E. Howard Hunt and James McCord. They planned to kill Richard Nixon during the 1972 Convention and make Spiro Agnew the President.

A peek at our Watergate is a peek at the Italian affairs now. And 20 officers of the para-military police elite corp, as well as a man in charge of the borders, was picked up.

Also, another man picked up was General Giovani Grassini. He's chief of SISDE, which is the Secret Intelligence and Security Minister. That would be like pulling in George Bush or Alexander Haig—which I think we should do—under house arrest for the assassination attempt on Ronald Reagan. I think these people have a direct connection to what happened in Washington, D.C. in front of the Hilton Hotel; I think they are linked to the secret teams. Richard Helms, E. Howard Hunt, William Colby, George Bush, the CIA has been a government. And in Italy they pulled in a biggy in the head of the Secret Intelligence and Security Minister, General Giovani Grassini.

At the time of Watergate, when they were arrested in June—and we should have an anniversary coming up in two weeks of the arrest at the Watergate Hotel—I wrote that Richard Nixon would be out of office because of Watergate. John Mitchell and the entire gang around him were involved in that scandal of the government within a government. And John Mitchell, the attorney General, was removed from office. And Richard Helms was slapped with a perjury charge and was removed from the CIA. And a lot of top officials changed places. Robert Mardian was kicked out of the Justice Department, and Kleindienst, and so forth. We had a change of officials of this hidden governement here: L. Patrick Gray from the National Security Council, who was the acting Director of the FBI at the time. We had that group.

Mardian and G. Gordon Liddy used to go down to the archives and watch Adolf Hitler's pictures, and they hired members of Hitler's Gestapo in Florida and elswhere to work with Donald Segretti. This same ball of wax in the United States that came out at the time of Watergate is coming out in Italy now.

If there were more bank robberies and more money missing when Watergate fell, and people were hurting more, we would have had a better investigation then, but we let it slide and now Italy pulled in the chief of the SISDE, which is the Secret Intelligence and Security Minister. And then they pulled in another general: Josepe Santivito, the head of SIME—the Security Unit of the Defense Ministry—also a member of this Masonic group, this secret group.

The Masonic lodge that Mr. Gelli formed as a double agent from Italy and Argentina began in 1963 in Rome.

Pope John XXIII died June 3, 1963. John Kennedy was killed November 22, 1963. That was the year when Kennedy, Khruschev, and Pope John Paul XXIII wanted peace again. That was the second round for peace, after Eisenhower had wanted it with Khruschev. It was ruined by the downing of the U2 [spy plane] over the Soviet Union and broke up the subject of Detante—a word never heard anymore: Peace or Detante.

We had one try when Eisenhower wanted it, and Allen Dulles, head of the CIA, and his brother John Foster Dulles, made sure it didn't happen.

The next chance came in 1963, but Pope John Paul XXIII, who was close to John Kennedy and Khruschev, died. And a few months later John Kennedy was killed.

Then this secret team was in full power in the United States. They took over here, and that was the end of the peace movement; that was tucked away and forgotten.

And 1963 was when Gelli became very strong. I've mentioned on the program the book "Treason For My Daily Bread", with the links of the Nazis from Argentina and Chile linked to Clay Shaw, who was in the OSS with Allen Dulles, and then the CIA, directly linked to Rome. I'll do programs soon, and update you on the Permendex organization and the meeting of the fascists for world fascism again, after World War Two was over; The Mussolini-Hitler gang in Italy that set up headquarters in Argentina and Chile (particularly Argentina) got ready for World War Three.

In 1963 this Propaganda Due—the lodge—was formed just as the fangs of fascism came into this country. The President was dead here, and the peace-loving Pope was dead in Italy.

Out of the 550 Masonic lodges there are about 15,000 members in the lodges in Italy. It's mainly a particlular group that is involved in this scandal that is coming out. It's similar to speaking to members of the FBI. I've talked to them about Division V of the FBI and William Sullivan, and the use of missionaries and Albert Osbourne to run schools of assassination down in Mexico or South America. The average FBI agent never heard of such a thing. For all of the FBI agents around the country that work to serve their government, that believe they're finding some form of justice or solving bank robberies, kidnappings, or murder, there is a handful in Washington D.C., and in every police department, where these S.W.A.T. teams or special squads belong to fascist organizations, such as L. Patrick Gray—I wrote about him also in 1972, covering up murders that were done by these teams in Los Angeles, specifically. And Ruben Salazar and other people. And U.S. Attorney Robert Myer covering up the Isla Vista Riots in Santa Barbara.

This secret team in Italy really got its muscles and its dual allegiance the very year that John Kennedy was murdered in the United States.

The San Jose Mercury had an article just last Sunday—I'm finished with parts of the New York Times article—this one was titled Italy's Justice Minister Quits In the Lodge Spy Scandal. This is a UPI story coming over the wire services as well as the local paper here. The Justice Minister in Italy, Adolfo Sarti, resigned. He's the first casualty of the Christian Democratic Party with their murky Italian Scandal.

And this goes into another Colonel: Antonia Viezzer, V-I-E-Z-Z-E-R. He was arrested on spy charges. A former official of the military intelligence organization who has been arrested on spy charges against Italy.

They're really spying and working for Argentina. This article discusses the relationship of the justice minister, Sarti, and Mr. Gelli, combined with their work with the Masonic lodge, that it's a power within the state's power, and the involvement of them with Mr. Sindona. And this story that came over this wire services says it's a scandal that involves a labor minister, Franco Foski; Foreign Trade Minister, Enrico Monka; and prominent politicians who are not part of the cabinet directly, but famous politicians in Italy. The Secret Service chiefs—not just one I mentioned, but the chiefs of the Secret Service.

And again, this goes to who protects officials. I know that the Secret Service did not protect John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, Martin Luther King, or Ronald Reagan, or the Pope. They were allowed to be shot. The Secret Service chiefs are part of these.

They refer to army generals, the finance police officials, and newspaper editors.

This group, according to the story in the San Jose Mercury, was accused as being a secret organization that has been barred from Italy's constitution for a long time.

If you want to know about the Masons—not the working Masons, but the one that is linked to the assassination teams or the control of a world government—there's a very good book by Neil Wilgus, W-I-L-G-U-S, called "The Illuminoids - Secret Societies and Political Paranoia". There's an introduction by Robert Anton Wilson. This book goes into the beginning of the Masonic fraternities. And as I say, it's not every Mason that is conspiritorily minded. But one group of the Masons may be in each country or each city, may be part of this secret team, and they use that as their cover.

His book goes into the Warren Commission; the murder of John Kennedy; the Bildeberger Society; the infiltration into places like the Carousel Club, where Jack Ruby ran his operation in Dallas; Vacaville Prison; it goes into the CIA; the mob; the right-wing Cuban organizations; the Kent State killings; the Manson family; the SLA; Watergate; the Unification Church of the Moonies; the FBI's involvement in South Dakota Indians; the Phoenix Program of William Colby—which, as I said, came back to the United States [from Vietnam] and formed the SLA [which is] the CIA; the mind control programs; the oil millionaire H.L. Hunt.

This book is a gold mine of information. It links these secret societies (that infiltrate into the Mason group) to all of the operations that I have been talking about for years on this program. It's being exposed in Italy [and you can see it] if you follow the newspapers this past week. Go to the library and get them. And look for the ones that are coming out in the weeks to come.

In this book: "The Chronology of the Illuminoids", he goes back to 1770 with the founding of the modern Freemasonry Society; 1721: How masonry was introduced into France; 1728: It was introduced into Spain; 1731: How Benjamin Franklin and the United States went into masonry.

As a matter of fact, Charles Manson, at his trial, was giving hand signs as a mason to the judge on the bench; They were communicating with specific hand signs that they had learned in the masonry.

This book goes into the chronology in 1735, and the introduction of the Masons into Portugal, Russia, and Italy. And then it updates it to the Council on Foreign Relations in 1921 that was formed in England.

Mussolini, with his links to the Italian and British Intelligence, coming together with the mafia from Sicily.

And then the connecting links of Hitler's National Socialist Party in 1923 in Germany.

And the Tea Pot Dome Scandal with President Harding.

This book has a chronology of J. Edgar Hoover taking over the FBI in 1924.

And the book has an interconnecting link of particular lodges—or suspician of the Masons—being involved in assassination teams and overthrowing of governments and controlling the world power.

So as you follow this chronology through all of the various episodes, it's interesting to see it coming out in terms of a Mason scandal involving assassination teams from down in Argentina and banking scandals, with money that has gone into fascist organizations of heroine traffic and assassination squads, combined with financiers from the Vatican.

The thing that is so unusual about this case breaking this week is pitting it to a lodge in the Masons, because if a person wants to understand them you can read the book "The Illuminoids" and get a vision of it.

There's another book out some of you might know called "The Cosmic Trigger - The Final Secret of the Illuminati", by Robert Anton Wilson. In that book he mentions me. Also, Neil Wilgus mentions our family and myself in his book "The Illuminoids" in his chronology—you'll see us and my research and so forth in that book. In Robert Anton Wilson's "Cosmic Trigger" he wrote:

Mae Brussell, the world's greatest single conspiracy buff, has insisted, over various underground radio stations, that virtually all the terrorist Left is secret CIA operation to discredit the rest of the Left.

And he refers to some of the allegations of the labor party, and he said:

Although neither Mae Brussell nor the U.S.L.P. are better at preparing an evidential case than the late Joseph McCarthy, the Watergate investigations reveal that the FBI's "COINTELPRO" operation did involve agents provaceteur and attempts to divide the Left by inciting crime and spreading paranoia. Maybe all the paranoids are right after all.

So after he begins to think that you are too much of a conspiracy buff by linking them, he has to apoligize, that in fact the allegations I've been making on the radio stations are true. In "The Illuminoids" by Neil Wilgus, he has a continuous series of these conspiracies and assassinations and secret government operations, including the COINNTELPRO operation, the SLA, the Manson Family, and so forth.

On June 4, 1963, a little known attempt was made to strip the Federal Reserve Bank of its power to loan money to the government at interest. On that day President John F. Kennedy signed Executive Order No. 11110 that returned to the U.S. government the power to issue currency, without going through the Federal Reserve. Mr. Kennedy's order gave the Treasury the power "to issue silver certificates against any silver bullion, silver, or standard silver dollars in the Treasury." This meant that for every ounce of silver in the U.S. Treasury's vault, the government could introduce new money into circulation. In all, Kennedy brought nearly $4.3 billion in U.S. notes into circulation. The ramifications of this bill are enormous.

With the stroke of a pen, Mr. Kennedy was on his way to putting the Federal Reserve Bank of New York out of business. If enough of these silver certificats were to come into circulation they would have eliminated the demand for Federal Reserve notes. This is because the silver certificates are backed by silver and the Federal Reserve notes are not backed by anything. Executive Order 11110 could have prevented the national debt from reaching its current level, because it would have given the gevernment the ability to repay its debt without going to the Federal Reserve and being charged interest in order to create the new money. Executive Order 11110 gave the U.S. the ability to create its own money backed by silver.

After Mr. Kennedy was assassinated just five months later, no more silver certificates were issued. The Final Call has learned that the Executive Order was never repealed by any U.S. President through an Executive Order and is still valid. Why then has no president utilized it? Virtually all of the nearly $6 trillion in debt has been created since 1963, and if a U.S. president had utilized Executive Order 11110 the debt would be nowhere near the current level. Perhaps the assassination of JFK was a warning to future presidents who would think to eliminate the U.S. debt by eliminating the Federal Reserve's control over the creation of money. Mr. Kennedy challenged the government of money by challenging the two most successful vehicles that have ever been used to drive up debt - war and the creation of money by a privately-owned central bank. His efforts to have all troops out of Vietnam by 1965 and Executive Order 11110 would have severely cut into the profits and control of the New York banking establishment. As America's debt reaches unbearable levels and a conflict emerges in Bosnia that will further increase America's debt, one is force to ask, will President Clinton have the courage to consider utilizing Executive Order 11110 and, ifso, is he willing to pay the ultimate price for doing so?

John F. Kennedy The White House, June 4, 1963.

Of course, the fact that both JFK and Lincoln met the the same end is a mere coincidence.

Abraham Lincoln's Monetary Policy, 1865 (Page 91 of Senate document 23.)

Money is the creature of law and the creation of the original issue of money should be maintained as the exclusive monopoly of national Government.

Money possesses no value to the State other than that given to it by circulation.

Capital has its proper place and is entitled to every protection. The wages of men should be recognised in the structure of and in the social order as more important than the wages of money.

No duty is more imperative for the Government than the duty it owes the People to furnish them with a sound and uniform currency, and of regulating the circulation of the medium of exchange so that labour will be protected from a vicious currency, and commerce will be facilitated by cheap and safe exchanges.

The available supply of Gold and Silver being wholly inadequate to permit the issuance of coins of intrinsic value or paper currency convertible into coin in the volume required to serve the needs of the People, some other basis for the issue of currency must be developed, and some means other than that of convertibility into coin must be developed to prevent undue fluctuation in the value of paper currency or any other substitute for money of intrinsic value that may come into use.

The monetary needs of increasing numbers of People advancing towards higher standards of living can and should be met by the Government. Such needs can be served by the issue of National Currency and Credit through the operation of a National Banking system .The circulation of a medium of exchange issued and backed by the Government can be properly regulated and redundancy of issue avoided by withdrawing from circulation such amounts as may be necessary by Taxation, Redeposit, and otherwise. Government has the power to regulate the currency and creditof the Nation.

Government should stand behind its currency and credit and the Bank deposits of the Nation. No individual should suffer a loss of money through depreciation or inflated currency or Bank bankruptcy.

Government possessing the power to create and issue currency and creditas money and enjoying the right to withdraw both currency and credit from circulation by Taxation and otherwise need not and should not borrow capital at interest as a means of financing Governmental work and public enterprise. The Government should create, issue, and circulate all the currency and credit needed to satisfy the spending power of the Government and the buying power of the consumers. The privilege of creating and issueing money is not only the supreme prerogative of Government, but it is the Governments greatest creative opportunity.

By the adoption of these principles the long felt want for a uniform medium will be satisfied. The taxpayers will be saved immense sums of interest, discounts, and exchanges. The financing of all public enterprise, the maintenance of stable Government and ordered progress, and the conduct of the Treasury will become matters of practical administration. The people can and will be furnished with a currency as safe as their own Government. Money will cease to be master and become the servant of humanity. Democracy will rise superior to the money power.

Some information on the Federal Reserve The Federal Reserve, a Private Corporation One of the most common concerns among people who engage in any effort to reduce their taxes is, "Will keeping my money hurt the government's ability to pay it's bills?" As explained in the first article in this series, the modern withholding tax does not, and wasn't designed to, pay for government services. What it does do, is pay for the privately-owned Federal Reserve System.

Black's Law Dictionary defines the "Federal Reserve System" as, "Network of twelve central banks to which most national banks belong and to which state chartered banks may belong. Membership rules require investment of stock and minimum reserves."

Privately-owned banks own the stock of the Fed. This was explained in more detail in the case of Lewis v. United States, Federal Reporter, 2nd Series, Vol. 680, Pages 1239, 1241 (1982), where the court said:

Each Federal Reserve Bank is a separate corporation owned by commercial banks in its region. The stock-holding commercial banks elect two thirds of each Bank's nine member board of directors.

Similarly, the Federal Reserve Banks, though heavily regulated, are locally controlled by their member banks. Taking another look at Black's Law Dictionary, we find that these privately owned banks actually issue money:

Federal Reserve Act. Law which created Federal Reserve banks which act as agents in maintaining money reserves, issuing money in the form of bank notes, lending money to banks, and supervising banks. Administered by Federal Reserve Board (q.v.).

The FED banks, which are privately owned, actually issue, that is, create, the money we use. In 1964 the House Committee on Banking and Currency, Subcommittee on Domestic Finance, at the second session of the 88th Congress, put out a study entitled Money Facts which contains a good description of what the FED is:

The Federal Reserve is a total money-making machine. It can issue money or checks. And it never has a problem of making its checks good because it can obtain the $5 and $10 bills necessary to cover its check simply by asking the Treasury Department's Bureau of Engraving to print them.

As we all know, anyone who has a lot of money has a lot of power. Now imagine a group of people who have the power to create money. Imagine the power these people would have. This is what the Fed is.

No man did more to expose the power of the Fed than Louis T. McFadden, who was the Chairman of the House Banking Committee back in the 1930s. Constantly pointing out that monetary issues shouldn't be partisan, he criticized both the Herbert Hoover and Franklin Roosevelt administrations. In describing the Fed, he remarked in the Congressional Record, House pages 1295 and 1296 on June 10, 1932, that:

Mr. Chairman,we have in this country one of the most corrupt institutions the world has ever known. I refer to the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal reserve banks. The Federal Reserve Board, a Government Board, has cheated the Government of the United States and he people of the United States out of enoughmoney to pay the national debt. The depredations and the iniquities of the Federal Reserve Board and the Federal reserve banks acting together have cost this country enough money to pay the national debt several times over. This evil institution has impoverished and ruined the people of the UnitedStates; has bankrupted itself, and has practically bankrupted our Government. It has done this through the maladministration of that law by which the Federal Reserve Board, and through the corrupt practices of the moneyed vultures who control it.

Some people think the Federal reserve banks are United States Government institutions. They are not Government institutions. They are private credit monopolies which prey upon the people of the United States for the benefit of themselves and their foreign customers; foreign and domestic speculators and swindlers; and rich and predatory money lenders. In that dark crew of financial pirates there are those who would cut a man's throat to get a dollar out of his pocket; there are those who send money into States to buy votes to control our legislation; and there are those who maintain an international propaganda for the purpose of deceiving us and of wheedling us into the granting of new concessions which will permit them to cover up their past misdeeds and set again in motion their gigantic train of crime. Those 12 private credit monopolies were deceitfully and disloyally foisted upon this country by bankers who camehere from Europe and who repaid us for our hospitality by undermining our American institutions.

The Fed basically works like this: The government granted its power to create money to the Fed banks. They create money, then loan it back to the government charging interest. The government levies income taxes to pay the interest on the debt. On this point, it's interesting to note that the Federal Reserve act and the sixteenth amendment, which gave congress the power to collect income taxes, were both passed in 1913. The incredible power of the Fed over the economy is universally admitted. Some people, especially in the banking and academic communities, even support it. On the other hand, there are those, both in the past and in the present, that speak out against it. One of these men was President John F. Kennedy. His efforts were detailed in Jim Marrs' 1990 book, Crossfire:

Another overlooked aspect of Kennedy's attempt to reform American society involves money. Kennedy apparently reasoned that by returning to the constitution, which states that only Congress shall coin and regulate money, the soaring national debt could be reduced by not paying interest to the bankers of the Federal Reserve System, who print paper money then loan it to the government at interest. He moved in this area on June 4, 1963, by signing Executive Order 11,110 which called for the issuance of $4,292,893,815 in United States Notes through the U.S. Treasury rather than the traditional Federal Reserve System. That same day, Kennedy signed a bill changing the backing of one and two dollar bills from silver to gold, adding strength to the weakened U.S. currency.

Kennedy's comptroller of the currency, James J. Saxon, had been at odds with the powerful Federal Reserve Board for some time, encouraging broader investment and lending powers for banks that were not part of the Federal Reserve system. Saxon also had decided that non-Reserve banks could underwrite state and local general obligation bonds, again weakening the dominant Federal Reserve banks.

A number of "Kennedy bills" were indeed issued - the author has a five dollar bill in his possession with the heading "United States Note" - but were quickly withdrawn after Kennedy's death. According to information from the Library of the Comptroller of the Currency, Executive Order 11,110 remains in effect today, although successive administrations beginning with that of President Lyndon Johnson apparently have simply ignored it and instead returned to the practice of paying interest on Federal Reserve notes. Today we continue to use Federal Reserve Notes, and the deficit is at an all-time high.

The point being made is that the IRS taxes you pay aren't used for government services. It won't hurt you, or the nation, to legally reduce or eliminate your tax liability.

JFK vs Federal Reserve

The JFK Myth
by G. Edward Griffin

On June 4, 1963, a virtually unknown Presidential decree, Executive Order
11110, was signed with the authority to basically strip the Federal Reserve
Bank of its power to loan money to the United States Federal Government at
interest. With the stroke of a pen, President Kennedy declared that the
privately owned Federal Reserve Bank would soon be out of business. The
Christian Common Law Institute has exhaustively researched this matter
through the Federal Register and Library of Congress and can now safely
conclude that this Executive Order has never been repealed, amended, or
superceded by any subsequent Executive Order. In simple terms, it is still

When President John Fitzgerald Kennedy - the author of Profiles in

specifically the Treasury Department, the Constitutional power to create and
issue currency -money - without going through the privately owned Federal
